Week 12 detailed schedule

Before 11:59 p.m. on Monday, 4/6

  • I will contact you with the names and emails of your group members, a link to a Doodle poll for the hangout during Week 13, and links to the group folder on Google Drive that your group will use for collaboration. The folder will contain two blank documents that you will use to create:
    1. A  collaborative proposal for your Issue/Cause Website (see W/D pp. 90-92 for instructions on how to create a proposal and the Issue/Cause Website assignment description for guidance on what should be included in the site).
    2. A document where you can collaborate on the Team Contract (see W/D p. 86; this document will be due at the beginning of Week 13)

Before 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, 4/9

  • Respond to the Doodle poll with availability for Hangout 4 during Week 13

Before 11:59 p.m. on Friday, 4/10

  • Finalize your Team Contract on Google Drive
    • This contract should follow the outline on p. 86 of W/D. Prior to working on the contract, you should review the “Guidelines for Successful Collaborations” on pp. 82-83 and the section on “Collaborative Composing Strategies” on pp. 83-85. To help you draft the document, it may also be helpful to complete the brief “Process!” brainstorming activity on p. 83.
    • The contract should have a title and list the names of all group members.
    • The contract should have 4 sections (from W/D, p. 86) and should answer all of the questions listed in W/D related to each section. Your answers should address how you will deal with these issues while collaborating remotely.
      1. Group Expectations
      2. Tasks and Deadlines
      3. Group Procedures
      4. Personal Accountability
  • Finalize your Proposal for the Issue/Cause Website on Google Drive
    • Follow the instructions on pp. 90-92 of W/D for organizing and creating a proposal. The proposal should address the details of the Issue/Cause assignment description (for example, you should identify the issue or cause the group has chosen, who the audience for it will be, etc.).
    • The proposal should have a title and list the names of all group members.
    • The proposal should have 5 parts:
      1. Introduction
      2. Project plan
