CSS typography assignment for Tuesday, 9/17

By now, you should have chosen your text or texts for the Remixed Text assignment and have digital copies of those texts. Between now and Tuesday, convert the text into an XHTML file (or files) with a CSS file.
When you come to class on Tuesday, be able to access these files.
Before class on Tuesday, choose a short section of your text—1-3 paragraphs—and experiment with the typography. Specifically, you should use the text and font properties of CSS, in combination with the <span> element and classes, to stylize the text of the section you have chosen to either emphasize its meaning or create new meanings from it. You can use the Hagen and Golombisky and Lupton readings, along with the videos we saw in class, for inspiration.
Be prepared to share your work in class and explain both how you did what you did and how your changes enhance the meaning of the text.
