Comment on Web 2.0 Project on a 1.0 media by John Jones http://courses.johnmjones.org/multimedia/2012/04/web-2-0-project-on-a-1-0-media/#comment-36 John Jones Tue, 17 Apr 2012 14:27:11 +0000 http://courses.johnmjones.org/multimedia/?p=2434#comment-36 Interesting observation. There are actually much better tools for text collaboration than there are for video. I suspect this has something to do with file sizes and bandwidth issues involved in real-time editing of video files by multiple folks in different locations. Interesting observation. Prezi is something that I learned to use too and it definitely will use it in the future. Moving text makes such a difference because it helps your brain remember the text and Prezi allows the author to make their text move. I completely agree. What would be nice if Apple could implement in the future a program that gives schools a discount on e-readers or iPads if they buy them in bulk. So that when students arrive on their first day of High School they can all have the choice to purchase an e-reader for only 50$ instead of the usual 100$ or more. This would be a pretty steep demand on e-reader companies to cut their prices in half, but if they did it would be really great PR for the company and would probably create some life-long buyers. Then everyone could have the chance to learn on such an easy and successful device!
