Are there any specific guidelines that you would like us to follow when naming and describing our WordPress blogs? You mentioned in the syllabus that you want us to go further than just saying it’s a blog that we made for class. Should we tailor the name and description to our career path?

@Tiffany, good question. At first, you will have a lot of latitude. For the first submission of the personal site, my goal is for you to familiarize yourself with the basics of using WordPress. Over the course of the semester, we will focus on rhetorical issues like audience and ethos, and as we do I will expect all of you to finely tune those sites to some particular goal. That goal will guide what the site is called and how the information on it—the text, the design, etc.—is presented.
That said, tailoring your material to your career path now is a good instinct on your part. You can always change everything before the final submission.
