When it comes down to it, Internet is just so big. Anybody can have access to the internet. With the rising technology we can acess the internet through so many devices. According Blown to bits, chapter 7, a mother of an 11 year old sued AOL for using chatrooms to sell pornographic pictures of her son. When I read something like that, it just confirms my thought on the internet. Anything can happen on there. Its like there is too much access. I also wonder what is going to happen in the future. If technology, internet etc countines to expand, and actually probably not if, it is definitely going to continue to expand, what is going to happen? How far is technology really going to? In addition to the internet and technology, how about communication? What are we even allowed to and not to say? The FCC has definitely taking over. Not even because I read Chapter 8 of Blown to bits, we can all see how it is now. All these things we have, cell phones, computers etc, anybody can have access to whoever, with the simple email, text, chat rooms etc. Wireless is huge to, unless someone has a password to the wireless, anybody can connect to other internet servers etc. Is the FCC really reading and seeing every thing humanity comminicates with? It baffles me to know that people got to really becareful. Even though its within the U.S. Constitution, Amendment 1 clearly says we have the right to freedom, religion, press etc. Like mentioned above, Technology, Internet and Our Future=Mind Bottling.
