Final Wrap Up #Engl303

As someone who was fairly new to the entire medium of multimedia writing, I came into the semester with an open mindset, ready to approach the topics and issues with a positive attitude. Overall, I believe that throughout this spring semester our group has tackled a varying number of controversial, provocative, and hot blooded topics found across the spectrum of multimedia writing.
Our weekly blog assignments introduced the different subject matter throughout the course by allowing us to develop our own opinion on the matter, while taking in consideration the beliefs of all my classmates. I personally enjoyed reading the submissions of my peers; it gave me a certain appreciation for each individual in the class.
The multimodal and multimedia projects have also been interesting introductions to certain aspects of multimedia writing, such as the incorporation of viral aspects like video, and audio clips. These projects have also given me a particular focus on several hot topic issues, such as social media addiction, and transcended my opinions on the matter.
All in all I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in English 303 this semester. I believe that collaboratively we have become introduced to a new culture found within the boundaries of writing and English. The different mediums we have used, such as Twitter and Prezi, have only furthered my appreciation for the use of our modern technology to promote our causes. Ultimately I believe English 303 is a course that everyone should at least be aware of for its effectiveness in promoting the spread of the English language.
